When to Log
Make logging a habit:- After every call - Take 30 seconds to note the key points
- After meetings - Summarize while details are fresh
- After showings - Record their reactions and feedback
- End of day - Quick review to catch anything missed
How Detailed?
Balance detail with time:- Too brief: “Called. Left VM.” - Not enough context
- Too long: Full transcript - Takes too much time
- Just right: “Called to follow up on listings I sent. She liked the one on Oak St but concerned about the small backyard. Wants to see it this weekend. Scheduling showing for Saturday.” - Key info captured quickly
