Using BPS on Your Phone
The VT2GO app
BPS has a phone app called VT2GO. It is the mobile way into the same BPS account you use on a computer. There is no second account and no second password. The app is best for quick work: checking what is due, watching a chapter, looking at your progress, and reading community posts. Long courses and file work are still easier on a computer screen. How to sign in on the app
- Install the VT2GO app from your phone’s app store.
- Open the app.
- Sign in with the same username and password you use for BPS on a computer.
- If it is your first time, the app may ask for your BPS system or site name. Use the same sign in details from your welcome email.
One login, one device at a time
The BPS sign in rule still applies on the phone: one login works on one device at a time. If you sign in on the app, your computer session may be signed out, and the same works in reverse. That is normal. Just sign back in on the device you are using. Never sign in with another agent’s login on your phone. That can lock their account and yours.Good habits on the phone
- Use Wi-Fi for video chapters when you can. Video on mobile data can stall and can use a lot of data.
- Let a video chapter play to the end, the same rule as on a computer, so the chapter marks complete.
- After you finish work on the app, open My Report Card later and confirm the progress saved.
- Keep the app updated. Old app versions are a common cause of odd sign in and video problems.
What to use the app for
- Check assignments and due dates from anywhere
- Watch a short chapter while you wait
- Check your report card before a meeting with your Manager
- Read and reply in the community
- Enter your tracker numbers at the end of the day
Problems you may hit
The app will not let you sign in
- Type your password with care. Phone keyboards change letters more often than you think.
- Try the same login on a computer to learn if the problem is the account or the app.
- If the account is locked from too many tries, stop and contact your Manager, the same route as a computer lockout in Article 1.
- If the login works on a computer but not in the app, update the app and try again.
