# Inviting Agents to Enroll Themselves

## What this job is

Instead of typing each agent's details yourself, you can invite agents to enroll on their own. There are two ways to do it. A Send Invite goes out by email to named people. An Enrollment Link is a sign up link you share with a group, like a class of new hires. Both routes land the agent in your location with the access level and content roles you picked ahead of time.

Use invites for a small group you know by name. Use an enrollment link when a whole class is starting at once.

## Before you send anything

Decide three things first. The invite and the link both carry your choices into every new account.

1. Access level. For agents, this is the Agent level.
2. Content roles. Pick the roles for the training these agents should see.
3. Location. It must be your brokerage location.

Set these once, carefully. Fixing them later means opening each account one at a time.

## Send an invite

1. Open the invite tool from your user tools.
2. Pick the access level and content roles you decided on.
3. Confirm your location.
4. Enter the email address for each agent, or pick agents from a list if the system offers one.
5. Send the invites.
6. Watch your user list over the next few days. Agents who enrolled show up there. Follow up with anyone who has not.

Each agent gets an email, clicks the link, fills in their own name and password, and lands in your location, ready to train.

## Build an enrollment link

1. Open the enrollment link tool.
2. Set the defaults every enrollee will get: access level, content roles, and your location.
3. Set an expiration date. Links should not live forever. Match the date to your class or hiring window.
4. Save the link.
5. Share the link with your group by email, text, or your onboarding paperwork.
6. Check your user list as people enroll, and close or expire the link when the window ends.

## What success looks like

Agents enroll themselves, appear in your user list under your location, and can see the right courses the first time they sign in. You typed none of their details by hand.

## Common problems

**An agent says the invite email never came.** Ask them to check spam first. If it is not there, confirm you sent it to the right address and send it again.

**The link is not working.** It may have passed its expiration date. Build a fresh link with a new date instead of sharing the old one.

**Agents enrolled but see no courses.** The defaults on the invite or link carried the wrong content roles. Fix the defaults before the next group, and open the affected accounts to fix their roles.

**Someone outside your brokerage used the link.** Deactivate that account right away. See Deactivating an Agent Who Leaves. Then expire the link and share a new one only with your group.
