# Using the BPS Community

## What the community is

The community is a private space inside BPS for the agents in your brokerage. It works a lot like a social media feed, but it is only for your team. No clients and no public posts.

Agents use it to ask questions, share wins, post updates, and learn from each other between trainings. It is a daily use area, not a one time setup.

## The main feed

The feed is the home of the community. Posts from people and groups you follow show here.

From the feed you can:

* Read and scroll posts from your team
* Like or react to a post
* Reply to a post
* Share a post with a group you belong to

## How to make a post

1. Open the community from the Main Menu.
2. Click the post box at the top of the feed.
3. Write your post. Keep it short and clear. Say what happened or what you need.
4. Add a photo or a file if it helps the team understand.
5. Post it to the feed or to a group, based on who needs to see it.

Ask questions in the open when the answer helps other agents too. Someone else on the team has the same question.

## Groups

Groups are smaller spaces inside the community, built around a team, a market, or a topic.

1. Open the groups area in the community.
2. Join the groups your Manager points you to.
3. Post group news and questions inside the group, so the right people see them.

## Following people

Follow agents and leaders you want to learn from. Their posts show in your feed.

1. Open a person's profile.
2. Click follow.
3. Their new posts will now reach your feed.

## Messages

You can send direct messages to other agents in the community. Use messages for quick, private notes to one person. Use the feed or a group when the talk helps the wider team.

## Your profile and notifications

Set up your own profile so the team knows who you are:

1. Open your profile in the community.
2. Add your photo and your basic details.
3. Save.

Then set your notification choices:

1. Open your notification settings in the community.
2. Pick what you want to be told about, like new posts in your groups, replies to your posts, and messages.
3. Save. You can change these at any time.

Too many notifications is the main reason agents mute the community. Set them once, with care, and the feed stays useful.

## Ground rules

* Keep posts about the work: training, deals, questions, and wins.
* Be kind. Write like the whole brokerage will read it, because they can.
* Do not post client private details. Names, addresses, and deal terms for a client stay out of the community.

## What success looks like

Your profile is set, you follow your team and your groups, you check the feed a few times a week, and you know how to ask the team a question and get an answer.
