# Entering Your Numbers in the Smart Tracker

## What the Smart Tracker is

The Smart Tracker is where you log the activity numbers your brokerage tracks, like calls made, appointments set, and closings activity. Your Manager sets up the tracker. Your job is to enter true numbers, on time.

Your entries roll up into reports your Manager reads. Bad or late numbers make the whole report weak, so this small habit matters.

## When to enter your numbers

Each tracker runs on a set cycle: daily, weekly, or monthly. Ask your Manager which cycle yours uses if you are not sure.

Pick a set time that matches the cycle, like the end of your work day or Friday before you leave. Same time, every time. That is how the habit sticks.

## How to enter your numbers

1. Sign in to BPS.
2. Open the Smart Tracker.
3. Pick the right tracker, if you have more than one.
4. Pick the right date or period. Check this with care. A right number on the wrong day is still a wrong entry.
5. Type your numbers in each field.
6. Save the entry.
7. Look at the saved entry once to confirm the numbers match what you meant to type.

Count real work only. A call is a call you made. An appointment is one that is set on a calendar. If you are not sure how your brokerage counts a field, ask your Manager once and use that rule every time.

## How to read your own totals

Open your tracker entries to see your saved days or weeks in a row. Use this view to check yourself:

* Did I miss a day?
* Do my numbers match the week I actually had?
* Is my activity trending up or down?

Your Manager sees compiled results for the team. You see your own entries, so keep them clean.

## Fixing a wrong entry

If you spot a mistake right after saving, open the entry for that period and correct the number, then save again.

If the entry will not let you change it, tell your Manager the date, the field, and the right number. Do not enter a second entry to cover the mistake. That doubles the numbers and makes the report worse.

## What success looks like

Every period has an entry, the numbers are true, and you can open your tracker and see a clean record of your activity.

## Problems you may hit

### You forgot a few days

Enter what you can prove from your calendar and call log today. Do not guess big numbers to fill a gap. Tell your Manager the days were late, then get back on the set time.

### A field does not match your work

Some trackers track team or office activity in set fields that may not fit your day. Enter what the field asks for, as your Manager defined it, and ask about odd cases at your next check in.
